Salvation Army and A Family Christmas Eve join to Share the Warmth with area homeless again on Christmas Eve Day

Canton, OH December 9, 2019.

This Christmas Eve Day, Share The Warmth—a collaboration between the Salvation Army and Share the Warmth: a Family Christmas Eve—will provide a delicious dinner, warm clothing, personal hygiene services and more to those in need. Santa Claus himself will make an appearance with gifts for each child in attendance. The event will take place between 12 noon and 3 pm at the Salvation Army, located at 420 Market Avenue S., Canton, OH 44702.

In past years, this dinner has served nearly 700 meals to adults, children and seniors from Stark County. Now in its fifth year, this will mark the second year that the two organizations have worked  in partnership for the event.

Share the Warmth is an annual event, held each Christmas Eve Day begun by Michelle Beyer in 2014. Its purpose is purely charitable, with the intent to share a warm meal as well as essential goods and services to our area’s homeless during this Season of Giving.
