WHEN: Tuesday, December 24, 2019
Thank you for everything you did for us last year as well as over the years. Your contributions were invaluable in making the dinner a success. Did you know we fed over four hundred guests at the Salvation Army between noon and 3:00 pm on December 24! And we are planning to do it again! Can we count on you this year?
We are in need of side dishes for an enjoyable holiday dinner to be complete. We have been blessed with the donation of all the poultry we need for the meal so we can focus on side dishes.
We are in need of:
Dinner rolls, buns and butter
We ask everyone to adhere to this list so all guests can enjoy the same foods. The food needs to be prepared, heated and ready to be served when dropped off.
The dinner is set for December 24, between noon and 3:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army – 402 Market Ave. S., Canton, OH 44702. Please drop off your prepared donations in disposable foil pans at the Salvation Army on December 24th any time before 11:00 a.m. The Salvation Army will be open for drop offs on Monday – December 23rd. if your drop off needs to occur that day.
Please refer to our website http://sharethewarmthstark.org/ for further information and instructions. Interested in volunteering that day, please complete the sign-up form. If you volunteered in the past you have not been automatically recruited for this year, you need to renew your interest by signing up again this year. We will be adhering to a sign-in list on the day of the event in order to maintain an efficient event.
Thank you for your contributions. We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers so we can again have a successful holiday dinner for our guests.
Would you consider Volunteering to be a Bell-Ringer for the Salvation Army this holiday Season?
The Salvation Army Red Kettles, placed in front of retail stores, is a holiday tradition.
Did you know that most of the people who stand with the kettles are volunteers? You and your family can volunteer too!
The smiles. The warm greetings. The inner feeling of doing doing something special for those less fortunate, is priceless.
HOW CAN YOU BE A BELL-RINGER?
